IC7 Dash Display

The iC-7 replaces traditional analogue gauges with a sleek digital interface, offering customisable channels, alarms, and easy usability for motoring enthusiasts, even with gloved hands.

Haltech, a Sydney-based leader in engine management since the 1980s, approached us to leverage our multi-disciplinary design team in developing the iC-7, applying expertise in electronics, Linux software, industrial design, and user interface to bring industry leading performance and usability.

The project’s challenges included designing a user-friendly interface, customisation, and robust functionality. Ingenuity’s Hardware, Software, and Industrial Design teams collaborated to address these through focused integration, helping Haltech develop the now widely used iC-7 digital dash.

With customisation a key goal we designed the IC7 to have configurable channels, units, alarms, and a programmable LED lightbar. The IC7 features 14 shift light LEDs, Linux-based programming, and a user-friendly interface designed for ease of use, even with gloved hands.

Further distinguished by its sleek design and ease of installation, integrated with Haltech’s leading engine management expertise and dedicated custom support. Our collaboration with Haltech has resulted in one of the most widely used products in its sector.
