The vision behind the Leica Jigsaw UHP was to create a universal hardware platform that provides fleet management optimisation, GPS guidance, and autonomous control of mining equipment.
The Leica Jigsaw UHP (Universal Hardware Platform) provides fleet management optimisation, high precision GPS guidance and autonomous control of mining equipment such as Haul Trucks, Shovels, Dozers, Excavators, Drills and Draglines. It allows Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) independent interfacing options to the device and integration potential for equipment diagnostics, maintenance, and lifecycle management, all within the same system. With an IP67 rating for external installation and resistance to vibration and shock, the UHP was designed for the harsh environment of a mining site.

The UHP solution sets the industry benchmark for comprehensive, efficient Mine Management Solutions. It optimises mobile equipment’s real-time scheduling and dispatch, allowing numerous independent OEM modules to interface within one unit. Each vehicle automatically tracks and logs its activity, position and status, allowing for real-time changes and hazard warnings.
